Res 1981 - 60 Adopting & Confirming Assessments for Friendly Hills Addition Water System ConversionCity of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 81-60 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING ASSES FOR FRIENDLY HILLS ADDITION WATER SYSTEM CONVERSION (IMPROVEMENT NO. 78, PROJECT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City,of Mendo follows: . 4) Heights as WHEREAS, the City Clerk, with the assistance of James Danielson, Public Works Director of the City of.Mendota Heights, has calculated the proper amount to be specially assessed for Improveme%t No. '78, Project No. 4 (construction of water system conversion improvements to serve the Friendly Hills Addition and other properties served by the Mendota Water Company) against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby upon the basis of benefits, without regard to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes Annotated, particularly'of Section 429.051 thereof; and WHEREAS, the proposed assessment roll has been on file with the Clerk and at all times since its filing has been open for pubfic'inspection; and notice thereof has been duly,published and mailed as,required by law. Said notice stated the date, time and place of{,such meeting; the general nature of the improvement; the area proposed to be assessed; that the proposed assessment roll has been on file with�jthe Clerk; and that written or oral objections thereto by any property, wner would be considered; and ,r I WHEREAS, said hearing was held at 7:30 o'clock p.m. onAugust 18, 1981, at the City Hall in the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Mayor announced that the hearing was open J,or the con- sideration of objections, if any, to said proposed assessments; and i WHEREAS, all persons present were then given an opportu{lity to present oral objections, and all written objections theretofore filed with the Clerk were presented and considered; and NOW THEREFORE, this Council, having heard and considerer so presented, and being fully advised in the premises, all necessary adjustments and corrections, finds that ei pieces and parcels of land enumerated in the proposed a was and is specially benefited by the construction of s< in not less than the amount of the assessment, as corre� site the description of each such lot, piece and parcel respectively, and that such amount so set out is hereby each of the respective lots, pieces and parcels of land cribed; and l all objections end having made 1ch of the lots, isessment roll did improvements ted, set oppo- �of land, levied against therein des-
