Res 1982 - 16 Commending Arnold Siebell for Outstanding ServiceCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 82-16 RESOLUTION COMMENDING ARNOLD SIEBELL FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE WHEREAS, Arnold Siebell was appointed to the Mendota Heights Volunteer Fire Department in September 1950; and WHEREAS, on October 18, 1967, Mr. Siebell was unanimously; Assistant Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department; and WHEREAS, on November 3, 1970, Mr. Siebellzwas unanimously Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department; and appointed appointed WHEREAS, Chief Siebell has unselfishly dedicated over thirty years of service to his community with less regard given to his own personal safety than to the safety of his fellow citizens; and WHEREAS, Chief Siebell formally retired from the Volunteer Fire Department on December 31, 1981; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mendota Heights City Council herewith regretfully acknowledges Chief Arnold Siebell's retirement from the Volunteer Fire Department; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Mendota Heights herein extends to Chief Arnold Siebell deep and sincere appreciation for his dedication to the protection, safety and well-being of his community and its citizens; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resoliiton, along with a Certificate of Appreciation be presented by Mayor Lockwood at the Fire Relief Association Dinner to be held in his honoron February 27, 1982.
