RESOLUTION NO. 82-24
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMENTS TO SERVE AMESBURY EAST
SUBDIVISION AND ADJACENT AREAS
(IMPROVEMENT NO. 81, PROJECT NO. 7
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 5th day of January, 1982,
at 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Hall of the City of Mendota Heights,
Minnesota, pursuant to resolution adopted by the City Council of
the City of Mendota Heights on November 17, 1981, on thequestion of
the proposed construction of the following described improvements:
The construction of an extension to the City's sanitary
sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto,
and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction
where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter more
particularly described.
The construction of a storm sewer system including
appurtenances and incidentals thereto and. the acquisition of
easements, in and for the area hereinafter more particularly
described.
The construction of an extension to the City's -water distri-
bution system including appurtenances and incidentals there-
to, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction
where necessary of streets in the area hereinafter; more
particularly described.
The construction of street improvements consisting of ,the
acquisition of easements and the trading, stabilization,
drainage and bituminous surfacing, and the constrictionof
concrete curbs and gutters on the streets to be situated,in
the area hereinafter more particularly described.
WHEREAS, due publication of the notice of public hearing
proposed construction has been attended to, and
on said
WHEREAS, mailed notice of said hearing has been mailed more than 10
days before the date of said hearing to the owners of each parcel
situated within the area proposed to be assessed, all in accordance
with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer. reported that the proposed improvements
and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and' further
reported on the proposed costs of said improvements and construction
thereof, and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
situated within the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County,
Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows:
All property within an area bounded by the following des-
cribed line:
On the East by Delaware Avenue, on the North by a line
approximately 400 feet North of the center section line
of Section 36, Township 28 North, Range 23 West" to Huber
Drive, thence Southerly along the Easterly right of way of
Huber Drive to the center section line of said Section 36,
thence Westerly along the center section line to the westerly
one sixteenth line of said Section 36, thence Southerly
along the Westerly sixteenth line to the North right of
way of F.A.I. 494, thence Easterly along said North right
of way line to Delaware Avenue, and there terminating.
WHEREAS, the City Council then proceeded to hear all persons interested
in said improvements and all persons were afforded an opportunity
to present their views and objections to the making of said improvements
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
That it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary
that the City of Mendota Heights construct the ',above-
described improvements, and it is hereby ordered that said
improvements be made.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 2nd
day of March, 1982. 1
