Res 1982 -103 Accepting Report & Calling for a Hearing on Proposed Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer & Street Improvements to Serve Acacia Park/MAC Property & Adjacent AreasCity of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 82-103 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING REPORT AND CALLING FOR A HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO SERVE ACACIA PARK/M.A.C. PROPERTY AND ADJACENT AREAS (IMPROVEMENT'NO. 82, PROJECT NO. 2) WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted his report to the City Council with respect to the proposed construction of the following improvements to serve Acacia Park/M.A.C. Property and adjacent areas, to -wit: The construction of an extension to the City's sanitary sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets and easements in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of a storm sewer system including appurtenances and incidental thereto and the acquisition of easements, in and for the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of an extension to the City's water distribution system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets and easements in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of street improvements consisting of the acquisi- tion of easements and the grading, stabilization, drainage and bituminous surfacing, and the construction of concrete curbs and gutters on the streets to be situated in the area hereinafter more particularly described. WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota and is more particularly described as follows: All of that property bounded by Knob Lane (Vacated) on the North and Mendota Heights:.Road on the South as well as Pilot Knob Road and New Trunk Highway 13 on the East and existing Trunk Highway 13 on the West. WHEREAS, in said report said City Engineer reported that the proposed im- provements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improvements. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows: 1) That the report of said City Engineer be and is hereby received. 2) That a Public Hearing on said improvements be held on1Tuesday, January 18, 1983 at 8:15 o'clock P.M. at the Mendota Heights City Hall in the City of Mendota Heights. 3) That the City Clerk, with the aid and assistance of the City Attorney, be and is hereby authorized and directed toiprepare a notice of said hearing and to cause said notice to be pub- lished and mailed to the owners of the property situated with- in said area, all in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statues.
