RESOLUTION NO. 83-37
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND APPURTENANCES
TO SERVE IVY FALLS ADDITION AND ADJACENT AREAS (IMPROVEMENT
NO. 79, PROJECT NO. 12)
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 19th day of April, 1983, at 8:00
o'clock P.M. in the City :Hall of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota,
pursuant to resolution duly adopted by the City Council of the City of
Mendota Heights on the question of the proposed construction of the following
described improvement:
The installation of a bituminous overlay on all streets in Ivy
Falls Addition together with a limited amount of Storm Sewers
and Concrete Curb and Gutter, including appurtenances and in-
cidentals thereto.
WHEREAS, due publication of the notice of public hearing on said proposed
constr.uctian has been attended to, and
WHEREAS, mailed notice of said hearing has been mailed more than 10 days
before the date of said hearing to the owners of each parcel situated within
the area proposed to be assessed, all in accordance with the applicable
Minnesota Statutes, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer reported that the proposed improvement and con-
struction thereof were feasible_and desirable and further reported on the
proposed costs of said improvements and construction thereof, and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvement:;is situated
within the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota and is, more
particularly described as follows:
All lots in Blocks 1 through 6 of Ivy Falls Addition together
with Lots A and B of Registered Land Survey No. 7 located West
of Blooks 1, 2, and 6 in Ivy Falls Addition.
WHEREAS, the City Council then proceeded to hear all persons interested in
said improvement and all persons were afforded an opportunity to present
their views and objections to the making of said improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1) That it is advisable, feasible, expedient and necessary
that the City of Mendota Heights construct the above des-
cribed improvement, and it is hereby ordered that said
improvement be made.
2) That the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said im-
provement.
3) That said improvement shall hereafter be known and designated
as Improvement No. 79, Project No. 12.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 19th day
of April, 1983.
