RESOLUTION NO. 83- 78
RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF SANITARY
SEWER CONNECTIONS TO MENDOTA HEIGHTS PROPERTY OWNERS
ALONG SIBLEY MEMORIAL HIGHWAY (S.T.H. 13) AS PART
OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS FOR THE CITY
OF MENDOTA
WHEREAS, as part of the construction of sanitary sewers to serve the City
of Mendota by Dakota County Housing and Redevelopment Authority and the
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission; and
WHEREAS, a limited number of properties in the City of Mendota Heights
are located adjacent to the construction of the interceptor sewer by the
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission; and
WHEREAS, Mendota Heights property owners adjacent to the interceptor sewer
have petitioned for connection to the sewer; -.arid
WHEREAS, the Mendota Heights City Council concurs that these connections
should be made and has no objection thereto; and
WHEREAS, the Mendota Heights City Council agrees to pay construction costs
to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission and assess the property owners
for same.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mendota
Heights that it has no objection to Mendota Heights property owners connecting
to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission interceptor sewer along Sibley
Memorial Highway (S.T.H. 13) and that the City of Mendota Heights will pay
the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission for the connections and will re-
cover the costs by assessing the respective property owners through the
City's standard assessment procedure.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 20th day of
September 1983.
