Res 1986 - 34 Accepting Bids & Awarding Contract for Construction of Sanitary Sewer, Lift Station & Force Main to Serve Bisanz Property & Adjacent AreasCity of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 86-34 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN TO SERVE BISANZ PROPERTY AND ADJACENT AREAS (IMPROVEMENT NO. 82, PROJECT NO. 7) WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the proposed construction of sanitary sewer, lift station and force main improvements to serve Bisanz property and adjacent areas (which improvements have heretofore been known and designated as Improvement No. 82, Project No. 7), bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with said advertisement: NAME OF BIDDER Crossings, Inc.. Moore Company St. Paul, MN Northdale Construction Company Rogers, MN Gartzke Construction Hastings, MN and AMOUNT OF BID $89,071.00 90,623.85 93,826.65 97,106.51 98,431.02 99,163.00 105,812.00 108,300.50 110,034.00 WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommended that the low bid submitted by Crossings, Inc. of Prior Lake, Minnesota, be accepted. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: • 1. That the bid of Crossings, Inc. of Prior Lake, Minnesota, submitted for the construction of the above described improvements be and the same is hereby accepted. 2. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver any and all contracts and documents necessary to consummate the awarding of said bids.
