Res 1986 - 99 Accepting Engineer's Report & Calling for Hearing on Proposed Sanitary Sewer, Water, Storm Sewer & Street Improvements to Serve Rolling Woods Addition & the Ponds of Mendota Heights• City of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 86- '99 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER, WATER, STORM SEWER, AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO SERVE ROLLING WOODS ADDITION AND THE PONDS OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS (IMPROVEMENT NO. 86, PROJECT NO. 9) WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted his report to the City Council with respect to the proposed construction of the following improvements to serve Rolling Green Addition and The Ponds of Mendota Heights and ajacent areas, to -wit: The construction of an extension to the City's sanitary sewer system, including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets and easementsin the areas hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of a storm sewer system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto and the acquisition of easements, in and for the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of an extension to the City's water distribution system including appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acqui- sition of easements, and the reconstruction where necessary of streets and easements in the area hereinafter more particularly described. The construction of street improvements consisting of the acquisi- tion of easements and the -grading, stabilization, drainage and bitumi- nous surfacing, - and the construction of concrete curbs and gutters on the streets to be situated in the area hereinafter more particularly described. WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows: East of Dodd Road, North of North Freeway Road, West of Warrior Drive, and South of Callahan Place. More particularly, the parcels directly adjacent to Wesley Lane right-of-way to the North, South and East. WHEREAS, in said report said City Engineer reported that the proposed im- provements and construction thereof were feasible and desirable and further reported on the proposed costs of said improvements. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows: 1. That the report of said City Engineer be and is hereby re- ceived. 2. That a public hearing on said improvements be held on Tuesday, January 6, 1987 at 7:45 o'clock P.M. at the Mendota Heights City Hall 750 South Plaza Drive in the City of Mendota Heights. 3. That the City Clerk, with the aid and assistance of the City Attorney, be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a notice of said hearing and to cause said notice to be published and mailed to the owners of the property situated within said area, all in accordance with applicable Minnesota Statutes.
