Res 1989 -134 Approving a Conditional Use Permit for Baseball Field Improvements� CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 8g- 134 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR BASEBALL FIELD IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, Independent School District 197 has made application for a Conditional Use Permit to construct accessory structures greater than 144 square feet on Sec 25, Twn 28, Range 23, SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 less highway 98/100 A except part for st, more particularly Henry Sibley High School located at 1897 Delaware Avenue, said structures being a batting cage and two baseball dugouts; and WHEREAS, The Mendota Heights Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on November 29, 1989 to consider said application; and WHEREAS, based upon the public record transcribed on November 29, 1989 the Mendota Heights Planning Commission recommends to the Mendota Heights City Council that the requested Conditional Use Permit be approved with the following condition, said condition being: 1. That the dugouts be a burnished block material that matches the color of the school brick. NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that the proposed Conditional Use Permit would have no adverse effect on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community or surrounding land; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that construction of said accessory structures would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Conditional Use Permit for construction of said accessory structures be approved with said condition.
