RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF SANITARY SERVICE, WATER, STORM SEWER AND STREET
CONSTRUCTION TO SERVE MENDOTA HEIGHTS BUSINESS PARK 2ND ADDITION
(LENNOX, IMPROVEMENT NO. 91, PROJECT NO. 3)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the proposed
construction of sanitary and storm sewer, water and street, curb
and gutter improvements to serve Mendota Heights Business Park
2nd Addition (Lennox) and adjacent areas (which improvements have
heretofore been known and designated as Improvement No. 91,
Project No. 3), bids were received, opened and tabulated accord-
ing to law and the following bids were received complying with
said advertisement:

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended that Ryan Contracting,
Inc. of Burnsville, Minnesota, be declared the lowest responsible
bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the bids for the project are hereby received and
accepted.
2. That Ryan Contracting, Inc. of Burnsville, Minnesota,
is hereby declared to b'e the lowest responsible bidder.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver any and all contracts
and documents necessary to consummate the awarding of
the bid for the above described improvements to Ryan
Contracting, Inc. of Burnsville, Minnesota.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to return to all bidders the deposits made with their
bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this
17th day of September, 1991.
