Res 1991 - 80 Ordering Preparation of Feasibility Report for Ivy Falls Creek Phase II Construfction & Preparation of a Proposal for Implementation of a Storm Water Utility Program (Improvement No. 91, Project No. 7)City of Mendota Heights Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLx➢TION NO. 91- 8 � RESOL�i°rION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPOR°r' I�OR IVY FALIS CREEK PHA.SE II CONSZ°RIIC'T'ION AND PREP�TION OF A PROPOSAL FOR IMPT�'�ATION OF A STORM WATER IITILITY PROGRAI�I ( IlKP'ROVffi�NT NO. 91, PRO�TECT NO. 7) �REAS, numerous erosion problems have occurred in the Ivy Creek Drainage system; and �AS residents in the area have periodically, informally requested the City to address possible solutions; and �REAS the City Engineer has completed Phase I of the feasibili- ty report; and �REAS the cost for Ivy Creek improvements and other storm water projects are difficult to assess and prove benefit. NOi�T T�RSFORE, IT IS HBRLBY RESOL`i73D by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a feasibility study as to whether said proposed improvements are feasible, whether said improve- ments should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and as to the estimated cost of said improvement. 2. The City Engineer be directed to prepare a proposal for the implementation of a City wide storm water utility program to finance new and existing storm water systems throughout the City.
