RLSOLIITION NO. 92-18
A RESOLIITION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL IISE PERMIT FOR FREIGHT
TERMINAL IN THE "I" DISTRICT FOR THE HUDSON COMP�NY
WHEREAS, Mr. Jim Hudson, owner of Hudson Company, has made
application for a Site Plan Review and a Conditional Use Permit to
operate a Freight Terminal; and
WIiERFAS, the Mendota Heights Planning Commission conducted a
public hearing on February 25, 1992, to consider the application;
�iEREAS, based upon the public record transcribed on February
25, 1992, the Mendota Heights Planning Commission recommended to
the Mendota Heights City Council that the Site Plan approval be
granted and that the Conditional Use Permit be approved with the
following conditions:
1. Provisions for indoor storage or screening of trash
receptacles.
2. Demonstration of proper disposal of any hazardous waste.
3. Additional evergreen screening or landscaping on Trunk
Highway 13.
WHEREAS, said owner submitted revised plans dated March 2,
1992; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted their regularly scheduled
meeting on March 5, 1992, to consider Mr. Jim Hudson's application.
NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that the proposed Conditional Use Permit
will have no adverse effect on the health, safety and general
welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land;
BE IT FIIRTHER RESOLVED, that construction of said freight
terminal is not adverse to the general purpose and intent of the
Zoning Ordinance;

BE IT FIIRTHER RESOLVED, that the Conditional Use Permit for a
freight terminal be approved according to the plans submitted and
revised as per March 2, 1992 letter with the following conditions.
1. Indoor storage of trash receptacles be provided as per
March 2, 1992 letter revising the Site Plan.
2. Disposal of any hazardous waste will occur as per March
2, 1992 letter revising the Site Plan.
3. Approximately forty (40) additional evergreen shrubs will
be planted along Trunk Highway 13 at a separation of five
feet (5') on center and plans showing such will be
submitted prior to any authorization of a building
permit.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 5th
day of March, 1992.
