A RESOLIITION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL IISis PERMIT FOR A Ni3W
CASHIER'S BOOTH AT DZCDONALD'S RESTAIIRANT
WHEREAS, McDonald's Corporation has ma.de application for a
Conditional Use Permit to construct a free standing accessory
structure as a cashier's booth at their existing McDonald's
Restaurant located at 2020 Dodd Road; and
�SEREAS, the Mendota Heights Planning Commission, although
lacking a quorum, conducted an informal public hearing at their
November 23, 1993 meeting to consider the request; and
DPSEREAS, the proper notice had been publicized and mailed and
no one was in attendance at the duly called public hearing; and
�PHEREAS, there was a consensus of the three Planning
Commission members in attendance to approve the requested
Conditional Use Permit subject to the following three conditions:

�WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed said application for a
Conditional Use Permit at their December 7, 1993 meeting and added
two additional conditions, said conditions being:

removed if not successful, and that it will not be used
for storage in any event.
That this detached structure (cashier's booth) will be
used only during peak hours.
Y�HEREAS,_the City Council finds that the request does not
adversely affect the general welfare of the City.
N0� THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights does hereby waive Planning Commission review and
grant the requested Conditional Use Permit subject to the following
conditions:
1. Submittal of landscape plans for review by staff.
2. Submittal to the City the plans for operational
safeguards to enhance security.
3. Relocation of the handicap parking stalls.
4. That the detached structure (cashier's booth)
