A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW TH�
CONVENT OF THE VISITATION TO CONS�'RUCT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE
ON THE MONASTERY GROUNDS
WHEREAS, the Convent of the Visitation, have made application for a Conditional
Use Permit for Accessory Structure, to allow construction of a screened gazebo, approxirnately
700 square feet in size, on the Monastery property, located at 2455 Visitation Drive, as shown
on plans on file in Case File No. 95-15; and ,
WHEREAS, the Mendota Heights Planning Commission conducted a public hearing
on July 25, 1995 to consider said application; and
WHEREAS, based upon the public record transcribed at said public hearings, the
Mendota Heights Planning Commission voted unanimously (6-0) to recommend to the
Mendota. Heights City Council that the above described Conditional Use Permit for Accessory
Structure be approved, as proposed on plans in Case File No. 95-15.
WIiEREAS, the City Council considered said applications for Conditional Use Permit
for Accessory Structure at their meeting on August 1, 1995.
NOW THEREFORE IT I5 HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights that the proposed Conditional Use Permit for Accessory Structure will
have no adverse effect on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the
community and the surrounding land and that said proposed screened gazebo is not adverse to
the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
BE IT FIJRTHER RESOLVED that the Conditional Use Pernut for Accessory
Structure be approved to allow the Convent of the Visitation to construct a screened gazebo, as
proposed on the plans on file in Case File No. 95-15.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this lst day of August, 1995.
