A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FRONT-YARD
SETBACK VARIANCE FOR NATIONAL ROD ENDS
WHEREAS, Mr. Jiovanazzo of National Rod Ends has requested a front-yard

WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 3-2 (with two members absent) to
recommend that the City Council approve this request,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a 38' front-yard setback variance is hereby granted with the
condition that any future widening of Water's Drive will incur an equal reduction in the
variance. In other words, National Rod Ends' sign must be at least two feet from the
properry line or 44 feet from the edge of Water's Drive, whichever is more restrictive. A
narrowing of Water's Drive would not a11ow a conesponding increase in the variance.
