RESOLUTION NO. 98-
A RESOLUTION DENYING A VARIANCE
FOR TWO DETACHED GARAGES AT 2520 ARBOR COURT
WHEREAS, Mr. Richard C. Rabanus has applied for a variance to Section
7.2(10) of the Zoning Ordinance for two attached garages on a single-family home, as
proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-05; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights
discussed this application at their February 24, 1998 meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a variance to Section 7.2(10) of the Zoning Ordinance, as
proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-05, is hereby denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota
Heights that the variance, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-05 is not
necessary -to alleviate a hardship or practical difficulty and would have an adverse impact
on the health, safety or general welfare of the citizens of the community and the
surrounding land, and would be adverse to.the general purpose and intent of the Zoning
Ordinance. •
