Res 1998 - 22 Approving a Minor Amendment to the Planned Unit Development for 880 Sibley Memorial Hwy to Allow Monument SignCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 98- 22 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MINOR AMENDMENT TO DHE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR 880 SIBLEY MEMORIAL HIGHWAY TO ALLOW A MONUMENT SIGN WHEREAS, Mr. Bill Erickson of Lawrence Sign has applied for a Minor Amendment to a Planned Unit Development for a Monument Sign at 880 Sibley Memorial Highway, as proposed on plans presented to the Council on the evening of April 7, 1998, and WHEREAS, This Planned Unit Development was originally approved on May 3, 1983 by Resolution 83-42, and WHEREAS, The application by Lawrence Sign involves removing the existing monument sign, NOW, 'THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a Minor Amendment to the Planned Unit Development for 880 Sibley Memorial Highway for a 48 square foot Monument Sign to be placed one foot from the property line, as proposed on plans submitted to the Council and reviewed by the Council at their regular meeting on April 7, 1998 is hereby granted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that this approved Minor Amendment to the Planned Unit Development for 880 Sibley Memorial Highway for the Monument Sign, as proposed on plans submitted to the Council on the evening of April 7, 1998 would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
