Res 1998 - 26 Approving a 7' Front Yard Setback Variance & a Critical Area Permit for a Home Addition at 1670 Mayfield Heights RoadCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 98-___26 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 7' FRONT YARD SETBACK VARIANCE AND A CRITICAL AREA PERMIT FOR A HOME ADDITION AT 1670 MAYFIELD HEIGHTS ROAD WHEREAS, Mr. Jesse Zepeda, representing the homeowners of 1679 Mayfield Heights Road, has applied for a 7' front yard setback variance and a Critical Area Permit for a home addition, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-10; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights discussed this application at their regular meeting on April 28, 1998 meeting; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission waived the public hearing on this application because Mr. Zepeda had obtained signatures of consent for this application from all neighbors within 100 feet of all property boundaries at 1679 Mayfield Heights Road, and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 6-0 on April 28, 1998 (with one Commissioner abstaining) to recommend that the City Council approve this application, NOW, 'THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a 7' front yard setback variance and a Critical Area Permit for a home addition at 1670 Mayfield Heights Road as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case File No. 98-10 is hereby approved. BE IT FUR'1HER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that this approved 7' front yard setback variance and Critical Area Permit for a home addition at 1670 Mayfield Heights Road as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case File No. 98-10 would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
