Res 1998 - 29 Approving a 10' Front Yard Setback Variance for Parking for an Office Building at 1150 Northland DriveCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 98- 29 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 10' FRONT YARD SETBACK VARIANCE FOR PARKING FOR AN OFFICE BUILDING AT 1150 NORTHLAND DRIVE WHEREAS, Mr. Len Lilyholm, on behalf of TAJ Technologies, has applied for a 10' front yard setback variance for parking for an office building, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-13; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights discussed this application at their regular meeting on April 28, 1998 meeting; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their April 28, 1998 meeting; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 5-2 on April 28, 1998 to recommend that the City Council approve this application, NOW, 'THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a 10' front yard setback variance for parking for an office building, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-13 is hereby approved on the following conditions: 1. That the applicant install all landscaping as proposed. 2. That the applicant create and maintain the island in the circle drive as proposed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that this approved 10' front yard setback variance for parking for an office building, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-13 would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
