RESOLUTION 98- 41
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 7' FRONT YARD SETBACK VARIANCE
FOR A NEW HOME ON ORCHARD CIRCLE
WHEREAS, Paul and Lisa Dorn have applied for a 7 foot front yard setback
variance for a new home on Orchard Circle as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case
No. 98-19; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights discussed
this application at their regular meeting on June 23, 1998; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission waived the public hearing on this
application at their June 23, 1998 meeting because the applicants had received the
appropriate signatures of consent; and
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a 7 foot front yard setback variance for a new home on
Orchard Circle as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-19 is hereby
approved.
BE IT FUR1'H.ER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota
Heights that the 7 foot front yard setback variance for a new home on Orchard Circle as
proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-19 would not have an adverse impact
on the health, safety or general welfare of the citizens of the community and the
surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the
Zoning Ordinance.
