RESOLUTION 98- 64
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EIGHT FOOT FRONT YARD SETBACK
VARIANCE FOR A COVERED STOOP AT 600 SPRING STREET
WHEREAS, Mr. Daniel Wolff and Ms. Mary Wolff have applied for an eight
foot front yard setback variance for a covered stoop as proposed on plans on file in
Planning Case No. 98-26; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights discussed
this application at their regular meeting on July 28, 1998; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at
their July 28, 1998 meeting; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 4-0 on July 28, 1998 (with three
members absent) to recommend that the City Council approve this application,
NOW, 'THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that an eight foot front yard setback variance for a covered stoop
as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-26 is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota
Heights that this approved eight foot front yard setback variance for a covered stoop as
proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 98-26 would not have an adverse impact
on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the
surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the
Zoning Ordinance.
