RESOLUTION NO. 97-10
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
ALLOWING THE ADDITION OF A HALF-WAY HOUSE
TO MENDAKOTA COUNTRY CLUB
WHEREAS, Mendakota Country Club has requested a Conditional Use Pemut allowing
a half-way house to be constructed, all as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 97-02;
and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights met to discuss
this application at their February 25, 1997 meeting; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 5-0 on February 25, 1997 to recommend
that the City Council approve this applicatioq
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Pernut allowing the construction of a half-way house
(with restraoms and refreshment service) as proposed in plans on file in Planning Case No. 97-02
is hereby granted subject to the following requirements:
1. That plans be submitted and approved by the City for the proposed septic system.
2. That a landscape plan be submitted and approved by the City.
3. That the e:rternal materials of the half-wa.y house be compatible with those of the main
clubhouse and approverl by the City.
4. That a signage plan identifying the location of bathroom facilities be submitted to the City for
approval.
BE IT FLTRTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that
the proposed Conditional Use Pernut allowing a half-way house to be constructed, all as proposed
on plans on file in Planning Case No. 97-02 will have no adverse impact on the health, safety or
general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be
adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
