Res 1997 - 18 Granting a Wetlands Permit Allowing the Construction of a Home Addition to Within 66.7 Feet of Lake Lemay\ i CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 97-18 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A WETLANDS PERMIT ALLOWING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A HOME ADDITION TO WITHIN 66.7 FEET OF LAKE LEMAY WHEREAS, Mr. Chris Woolsey of 2316 Lake Lemay Road has requested a Wetlands Permit allowing a home addition to be constructed to within 66.7 feet of Lake Lemay, all as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 96-27; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights met to discuss this application at their Apri129, 1997 meeting; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 7-0 on Apri129, 1997 to recommend that the City Council approve this application, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a Wetlands Permit allowing the construction of a home addition to within 66.7 feet of Lake Lemay as proposed in plans on file in Planning Case No. 96-27 is hereby granted subject to the following requirements: 1. That the homeowner refrain from building until a building permit has been issued. 2. That construction commence within 60 days of issuance of the Building Permit and be completed no later than twelve months after issuance of a building pernut. 3. That the homeowner combine the parcel that contains his house (PIN #27-04100-018- 36) with the parcel immediately east of it (PIN #27-04100-015-36) into one parcel. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that the proposed Wetlands Permit allowing a home addition to be constructed, all as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 96-27 will have no adverse impact on the health, safety or general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
