Res 1997 - 40 Approving a 3-Foot Height Variance for a Fence to 2459 Winthrop CtCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 97-�40 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 3-FOOT HEIGHT VARIANCE FOR A FENCE TO 2459 WINTHROP COURT WHEREAS, Mr. Neil Melton of 2459 Winthrop Court has requested a 3-foot height variance for a fence, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 97-20; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights held a public hearing on this application at their July 29, 1997 meeting; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 4-2 (with two Commissioners voting in the negative and on Commissioner absent) on July 29, 199? to recommend that the City. Council approve this application, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a 3-foot height variance for a fence, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 97-20 is hereby granted. _ � . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that the height variance for a fence, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 97-20 will have no adverse impact on the health, safety or general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
