Res 1999 - 04 Approving a Building Permit Authorization & a 2.5-Foot Front Yard Setback Variance for a Garage Addition for 1442 Wachtler AveCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 99-0,4 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUILDING PERMIT AUTHORIZATION AND A 2.5 FOOT FRONT YARD SETBACK VARIANCE FOR A GARAGE ADDITION FOR 1442 WACHTLER AVENUE WHEREAS, Mr. Scott A. Thomas has applied for a 2.5 foot front yard setback variance for a garage addition for 1442 Wachtler Avenue as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 99-01; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights discussed this application at their regular meeting on January 26, 1999; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 4-2-1 on January 26, 1999 to recommend that the City Council approve this application (with two Commissioners voting in the negative and one in abstention), NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a 2.5 foot front yard setback variance for a garage addition at 1442 Wachtler Avenue as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 99-01 and building permit authorization is hereby approved. - BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that this approved 2.5 foot front yard setback variance for a garage addition at 1442 Wachtler Avenue as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No. 99-01 and building permit authorization would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
