RESOLUTION 99- 28
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERNIIT
FOR A DETACHED GARAGE AT 1021 CHIPPEWA AVENUE
WHEREAS, Mr. Paul A. Edstrom of 1021 Chippewa Avenue has applied for a '
Conditional Use Permit for a detached garage as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case No.
99-15; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Mendota Heights discussed this
application at their regular meeting on May 25, 1999; and
WHEREAS, There was no one present to speak at the public hearing on this application,
and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 6-0 (with one Commission absent) on
May 25, 1999 to recommend that the City Council approve this application,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit for a detached garage as proposed on plans on
file in Planning Case No. 99-15 and building permit authorization is hereby approved under the
following conditions:
1. That the garage be no more than one story and no more that 15' in height as shown on plans
submitted by the applicant.
2. Changes to grades and drainage are approved by the City Engineer.
3. The garage addition building materials and colors match the principal structure.
BE IT FLTRTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights
that this approved Conditional Use Permit for a detached garage as proposed on plans on file in
Planning Case No. 99-15 under the above conditions would not have an adverse impact on the
health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and
would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
