A RESOLUTION DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
AND 16' FRONT YARD SETBACK VARIANCE FOR A DETACHED GARAGE
AT 1057 CHIPPEWA AVENUE
WHEREAS, Michael L. Kluznik of 1057 Chippewa Avenue has applied for a
Conditional Use Permit and Variance for a new detached garage to replace an existing
detached garage as proposed in Planning Case #01-09; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on May 22, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit and l6' Front Yard Setback
Variance for a new detached garage to replace an e�sting detached garage as proposed in
Planning Case #01-09 is hereby denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota
Heights that this Conditional Use Permit and Variance for a new detached garage to
replace an existing detached garage as proposed in Planning Case #01-09 would have an
adverse impact on the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community
and the surrounding land, and would be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the
Zoning Ordinance.
