A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WETLANDS PERMIT FOR A BUILDING
EXPANSION FOR PATTERSON DENTAL AT 1031 MENDOTA HEIGHTS ROAD
WHEREAS, Mr. Mcllwain on behalf of Patterson Dental has applied for a Wetlands
Permit for a building expansion for Patterson Dental at 1031 Mendota Heights Road, as proposed
on plans on file in Planning Case File No. 00-07; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their
regular meeting on January 25, 2000, and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend that the Council
approve this application with two members absent,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights that a Wetlands Permit for a building expansion for Patterson Dental at 1031
Mendota Heights Road, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case File No. 00-07 is hereby
approved under the following conditions:
1. A filtration system must be installed in the new catch basins.
2. A five-foot high fence must be installed in lieu of the 42" fence shown on the
grading, drainage and erosion control plan - sheet 1 dated 12/27/99.
3. That trucks removing fill from the site be instructed to use Mendota Heights Road
west of the property as their haul route.
4. That the public streets be cleaned promptly from any dirt or debris resulting from
this construction.
5. The City Engineer must approve final construction, grading, and drainage plans
prior to any grading or construction occurring on the site.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights
that this Wetlands Permit for a building expansion for Patterson Dental at 1031 Mendota Heights
Road, as proposed on plans on file in Planning Case File No. 00-07 would not have an adverse
impact on the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the
surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning
Ordinance.
