A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ALLOWING
RESURRECTION CEMETERY TO CONSTRUCT A MAUSOLEUM AT
2101 SOUTH LEXINGTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, Catholic Cemeteries has applied for a Conditional Use Permit to
construct a second Mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery, as shown in plans on file in
Planning Case No. 00-08: and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a Public Hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on January 25, 2000, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 5-0 (with two members absent) to
recommend that the City Council approve this application, subject to the submission of a
landscape plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit allowing Resurrection Cemetery to construct
a Mausoleum according to the plans on file in Planning Case File No. 00-08 is hereby
approved and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that
the Code Enforcement Officer be authorized to issue a building permit for Phase I of the
construction subject to compliance with all City and State Codes and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights,
finds that the proposed Mausoleum will not negatively impact on the health, safety and
general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be
adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
