Res 2000 - 92A Approving an Application by Par 3 Golf Course for a Conditional Use Permit & a Wetlands Permit for an Accessory Structure to Replace the Existing Shed at the Center of the Golf Course with a Larger Shed in the Same LocationCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 00-92A A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION BY PAR 3 GOLF COURSE FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND A WETLANDS PERMIT FOR AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE TO REPLACE THE EXISTING SHED AT THE CENTER OF THE GOLF COURSE WITH A LARGER SHED IN THE SAME LOCATION WHEREAS, Mr. Mike Cashill of par 3 Golf Course at 1695 Dodd Road has applied for a Conditional Use Permit and a Wetlands permit for an accessory structure to replace the existing shed at the center of the golf course with a larger shed in the same location as proposed in Planning Case #00-33; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their regular meeting on August 22, 2000 and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend that the Council approve this application. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit and a Wetlands Permit for an Accessory Structure to replace the existing shed at the center of the golf course with a larger shed in the same location to within 28 feet of the edge of the wetland as proposed in Planning Case #00-33 is hereby approved on the following conditions: 1. The siding on the new facility shall be cedar siding. 2. The first twenty feet of the driveway from the street shall be asphalt. 3. In order to provide screening for the new building from both Evergreen Knolls and Bachelor Avenue, Par 3 shall implement their landscape plan as presented to Council on November 7, 2000. 4. Par 3 shall adhere to its lighting plan as presented to Council on November 7, 2000 5. Par 3 shall adhere to its professionally drawn elevations of the proposed building with the appropriate architectural enhancements to the building as presented to Council on November 7, 2000. 6. The garbage dumpster on the west side of the building shall be fenced and fully screened. 7. The beverage vending machine and the portable bathroom facility shall be at separate locations on the outside of the building. 8. The portable bathroom facilities shall be permanently affixed to the ground with "U" shaped hooks in concrete or an equally secure arrangement. 9. No outside storage of equipment shall be allowed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that this Conditional Use Permit and Wetlands Permit for an accessory structure to replace the existing shed at the center of the golf course with a larger shed in the same location as proposed in Planning Case #00-33 under the above conditions would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
