Res 2000 -103 Adopting a Schedule of Compensation for Certain Employees for 2001 & Establishing Certain Other BenefitsCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS Dakota County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 00-103 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES FOR 2001 AND ESTABLISHING CERTAIN OTHER BENEFITS WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a grade -and -step pay system for certain full-time employees of the City; and WHEREAS, based upon recommendation of the City Administrator, Council has determined the appropriate placement of each City position in a Grade, and the incumbent employee in a Step; and WHEREAS, it is also necessary to set salaries for certain part-time employees, as well as fringe benefits for full-time employees. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota as follows: `. 1. That the following schedule of salaries be implemented effective January 1, 2000 for part-time employees and temporary full-time employees: Employee Position Salary John Maczko Fire Chief $ 7,470* James Kilburg Assistant Fire Chief 4,320* Mary Hapka Recreation Programmer 14,614 Lambert Derks Custodian 12.88/hr. *Annual compensation for administrative and other department responsibilities, excluding fire calls, training and drills. 3. That the following hourly rate of pay for volunteer firefighters be implemented effective January 1, 2001: 0 - 1 years $6.75 1 - 5 years 7;50 5 years and over 8.00 Captain 9.00 Assistant Fire Chief 10.00** Fire Chief 10.00** Detail duty rate 7.25 **Hourly compensation for fire calls, training and drills. 4. That the city's maximum contribution toward insurance premiums for full-time employees not covered by a labor contract shall be $463.00 per month for 2001.
