A RESOLUTION DENYING FRONT YARD SETBACK VARIANCES
FOR SIGNS FOR DENNIS TROOIEN OF DS OF CENTRE POINTE (GNB)
AT 1101 CENTRE POINTE CURVE
WHEREAS, Dennis Trooien of DS of Centre Pointe (GNB) has applied for
Front Yard Setback Variances for Signs at 1101 Centre Pointe Curve as
proposed in Planning Case #01-20; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this
application at their regular meeting on July 31, 2001; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend that the
Council deny the Front Yard Setback Variances for Signs;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the
City of Mendota Heights that the Front Yard Setback Variances for Signs at 1101
Centre Pointe Curve as proposed in Planning Case #01-20 is hereby denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota
Heights that the Front Yard Setback Variances for Signs at 1101 Centre Pointe
Curve as proposed in Planning Case #01-20 would have an adverse impact on
the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the
surrounding land, and would be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the
Zoning Ordinance.
