Engineer Kishel outlined the bids received fo the 1976 Seal Coating and Street Oiling projects. He noted that the low bidder on the street oiling portion of the bi , Bituminous Roadways, had notified him that they would no accept the award for street oiling unless they were also award d the seal coat bid. He pointed out that the Pine Bend Pavin Company submitted the low bid for seal coating and that the Pi e Bend bid for street oiling is only $90 higher than the low st bid. He recommended that the bids for 1976 Seal Co ting and Street Oiling be awarded to Pine Bend Paving. Councilman Lockwood moved the adoption of Resc "RESOLUTION ACCEPTING,BIDS AND AWARDING CONTR STREET OILING AND SEAL COATING," awarding the Pine Bend Paving in the amount of $12,269 for $1,290 for Street Oiling. An informative explanation of the procedure used for figuring taxe followed and th Assessor stated that if any resident so desired, the Assessors would process each su h request during the Board of P.eview.
