S;. 1_ r. c i Following up on aur canversation about a week ago regarding the removal of the stap signs on Hill.op Road at the above junctions, please let this stand as my ab- jection to tha.s decision. As you knaw, T have lived in my gresent resident at 795 Hilltop Court for over fi.fteen years; I have served on the Planning Commission and Vil.- lage Council for a goad part of this time, and therfore feel qualified to make the following abservation: . l. The Samerset Hzlls subdivision has always been cansidered a low density, residential area and because of its location, and the absence of vehicular arteries, there is no reason or through streets or uncantralled traffic mavements; 2. The removal of the stop signs has resulted in. aubstantial speedup of traffic eas and west on Hilltop Raad; from persanal observaion, it is not all unuual for auontobiles, trucks,-school %uses, etc., to pass throue the abcave intersections at speeds clearly in excess of 30 mil.es an hour. Approaching this intersection fram either the east or the west, visibility is limited by the crest of the hill and by the terrain, in that the road makes a turn right at the junction. There are a number of sma11.
