It is proposed to . increase the monthly retainer from $150 per onth to $450 per month, the $5.00 per inspection fee to remai the same. The Council discussed the matter at length. Councilman Wahl seconded the motion. Acting Mayor Lockwood suggested that Council Losleben meet with the Chairman of the Task Force Committe to determine whether the Committee feels that their porti n of the public works facilities program plan has been compl ted or if their additional involvement is desireable at this time. Trails -- Franzmeier reported that the State has given us forms to be filled I out which will enable us to obtain funds for Friendly Hills and Curley trails. � The state will provide some fill and grading on the easement fo the Curley Trail.j 5. Park-A-Rama -- The summer festival came out in the black financ'ally. Some organizations haven't completed their book-work so a complete r port is not available at this time. Many changes are being contemplated fo future Park- A-Ramas and will be discussed during the coming year. 6. Summer Recreation -- Selander reported that the program is gett'ng too big for one person to handle. People want more activities added each y ar. He was advised to defer all such requests as well as umpiring requests to the Commission so he wouldn't be burdened with more work than he has been cont acted to do. It was agreed that more people must be hired to handle the socc r and t-ball. The budget should provide for the hiring of one person per team and at a fair ,��age rate. Men's and women's softball should be self-supportin and they should hire their own umpires. The Co�anission approved the addition of a men-wonen Sunday nigh softball program and a men-women mixed volleyball program. These progr must charge a sufficient fee to be self-supporting and provide for payment of umpires. There must be reliable people running the programs. 7. Roger's Lake -- The right of way can be used as the access poin� from which the lake can be stocked with small ga.me fish.
