CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF HEARING TO DETERMI114E AND CONSIDER PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR KIRCHERT-CARLSON SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENTS (IMPROVEMENT NO. 74, PROJECT NO. 4) TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights, Dakota County, Minnesota, deems it necessary and desirable to determine and consider the proposed assessments for the improvements hereinafter described. NOW THEREFORE, notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights will hold a public hearing on said proposed assessments at the following time and place within the said City: Date and Time: Tuesday, July 8, 1975 8:00 o'clock P.M. Location: Mendota Heights City.Hall 750 South Plaza Drive Mendota Heights, Minnesota 55120 The general nature of the improvements heretofore known and designated as Improvement No. 74, Project No. 4 for which said assessments are to be made is: The construction of an extension to the City's sanitary sewer and water systems to serve the property known as 2300 Pagel Road•and 2288-2294 Dodd Road, Mendota Heights, Minnesota,and The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, and is more particularly described as follows: The properties known and designated as 2300 Pagel Road and 2288-2294 Dodd Road. It is proposed to assess every lot, piece or parcel of land benefited by said i-mpzovements whether abutting thereon or not based upon bene- fits received without regard to cash valuation in accordance with the proposed assessment roll thereof which is now on file with the City Clerk of the City of Mendota Heights at the City Hall of said City and which assessment roll is open to public inspection. Provide preferential treatment for express 1buses at congestion points on the metropolitan highway system including I-3.'SW at 62nd Street Crosstown, I-94 in the Dartmouth -University Area, and I -3'.5'E north of downtown St. Paul. 2. Provide new express transit service designtied to capture 10• to 25 per cent of CBD bound peak hour trips from Subregiora�s 5, 6-, 8, 9, 11, and 12, with express lines operating on T.H. 12 (I-394), T.H. _LI00, I-94 north of downtown Minneapolis, I -35E north of downtown St. Paul, T.H. 3(6 Un Roseville, and I -35E in Eagan and Burnsville. 3. Provide substantially improved local or Hindited stop service to subregional op- portunities in Subregions 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8.. 4. Initiate a suburban Dial -a -Ride demonstrafftnn project in conjunction with actions recommended in Recommendation 3 above.. 5. Maintain the existing leve1of express and Tal service in Subregions 1, 29 4, 99 10, 11, and 12. The service should be exuded only in response to user demand and available resources. 6. Provide improved circulation and distribut-tbw within the two Metro Centers to encourage downtown living and facilitate tFci=-mmovement of people.
