A rather important topic is being considered by the municipal officials and they have asked that you be invited to participate in the discussion and planning. The important subject matter is this -- City building needs. Mendota Heights needs new public works facilities, City Hall facilities and expansion of other public facilities. We have done some preliminary studying on this matter and intend to discuss it next week. As the attached letter from Barbara Lukermann indicates, she will make a presentation of her findings on: Tuesday, May 13 8:00 P.M. City Hall It is our hope that the official municipal family consisting of elected Council members, appointed Planning Commission, and City staff, will be supplemented by a number of interested citizens when considering the public needs. For this reason, a selected number of citizens are being invited to hear the results of the preliminary study. Hopefully you will be able to assist your municipal people in making future community decisions. I am looking forward to seeing you next Tuesday. If, for some reason, you are not interested or cannot attend, would you please contact me? Very truly yours, Orvil J.
