INFILL LETTER
This week Linda, with help from Chrissy, Sharon and Pam copied the 1200 plus infill letters to
send to the residents who live within 350 feet of a lot that could be subdivided. After
engineering determined who to send the letters to and made address labels, Linda had to copy the
letters, fold them, stuff them in envelopes, run them through the postage machine and get them
mailed out. It was quite a job! All was completed by Wednesday. The City Council asked staff
to solicit input from the residents living within 350 feet of the 61 identified residential properties
that could be subdivided. These landowners are being given the opportunity to either provide
written comments, or attend a City Council meeting on August 1st when a public hearing will be
conducted to discuss the proposal to increase lot sizes for all newly created residential lots.
50TH ANNIVERSARY WRAP UP
On Tuesday evening of this week Dick Spicer, Council Members Duggan and Schneeman, Terry
Blum, Mary Hapka, Teresa Ganglehoff, Guy Kullander, Larry Craighead, Ralph Dumond and
Paul Portz all got together to do an “after action” meeting on the 50-Year Celebration. With a
few exceptions everyone thought that everything went well and the outcome of the meeting was
to add more events to next years annual Parks Celebration. The committee feels that we would
also need to use Mary Hapka next year to help Teresa with these added events.
MENDOTA DAYS
Mendota Days was held last weekend, and with the exception of one tasing and a couple of noise
complaints this event went well.

enough for me here. See you when I return.
Respectfully submitted,
