Staff feels that it is important for the commission to visit the parks as a group to encourage discussion and get a sense of the current state of each park. The tour should take no longer than an hour and a half. If the commission would like to visit several parks during the June meeting please identify 4-5 parks that the group would like visit with staff. Another tour of the remaining parks could take place in the fall or winter. New this year, each participant in one of our youth programs will receive a Mendota Heights Par 3 tee shirt, which will help with advertising and promoting the course. The new Toro Sandpro that we purchased last year is working great and is keeping our bunkers in good shape. Staff will continue to work on the garden area in front of the clubhouse to keep it looking beautiful. The fence around the back patio has been stained, and we are planning on staining the maintenance building very soon. Staff is in the process of getting a company to do some concrete work around the clubhouse to help clean it up. Budget Financial data will be available Tuesday May 12, 2015.
