January 10, 1963
The meeting convened at 8;00 p.m. in the village fire hall with Ian Lustig,
Bob Duck, Dick Bancroft, Lid. Sroder and lardy Wright present. Also present were
Howard Dahlgren and Robert Ea Southworth, k41'C planner. Present re case 6210 was
Geremia Lametti; present re building permit wan Leroy Noack.
2 Motion by Wright, seconded by Sroder that the commission report to the council
that a number of feasible possibilities for future development on and around the
acre on which Leroy Noack proposes to build a residence have been investigated,
and recommend that the plot plan submitted and attached be approved and that a
building permit be issued upon proper application and evidence of conformance
to village ordinances. Ayes 5, neyee 0.

Motion by Hauck, seconded by Lustig that in consideration of the agreement of
Geremia Lametti to pay into the village parks and playgrounds fund the sum of
$300, the preliminary plat for Lametti Addition be forwarded to the council with
recommendation for approval. Ayes 5, nares 0,
4 Howard Dahlgren reported progress in working out proposals for lot size minimums
in the north end of the village and it was agreed that the commission would meet
with him on the following Saturday to tour the areas in question.
5 Howard Dahlgren reported on a mating with Mr. McCubrey of tla state highway
department in w hich he objected to highway plans for cutting off Lexington Avenue.
Dick Bancroft reported formation of a group to start a private elementary school
on the Anes property on Blue Gentian road, and he extend =d an invitation to all
interested persons to a meeting at the library building, 8;00 p.m., January 29.
7 Motion by Broder, seconded by Wright that the election of commission officers be
postponed until neer appointments should bring the comauiseion up to strength and until
such meeting ao full attendance of seven members should convene. Ayes 5, Hayes O.

Interim meetings
On the afternoon of January 12, Lean Lustig, Ed Sroder and Dick Bancroft toured
the north section of the village with Howard Dahlgren and section maps indicating
common ownerships of adjoining lots. The full length of each street in the area
was traveled, end poesibilitiee for minimum lot size groupings were discussed.
On the evening of January 22, Len Lustig, Hardy Wright, Fred Braes, Mayor Huber,
Trustee Mertensoto, Trnotee Olson and Clerk Calkins met with Father Ro.ch, Mr, Degot
and architect Henry Dulin of Thorshov & Cerny at St, Thomas College. Flans for a
two-story cosuple= comprising 24 classrooms, gymnasium, rfactory, dining area,
®dimming pool and a closed court with 5 -day rooming facilities for 25 students were
reviewed. Father Roach Judie ted the t two alternates for sewage disposal were
(l) a ponding area southeast of the buildings for joint use with the Visitation
Sisters and (2) a ponding area northwest of the buildings --both approved by the
state board of health. It was agreed that the architect would work closely with
village planning and engineering consultants on location of M. H. Road, dedication
of right-of-way for it and plans for access from the north. Father Roach expressed
interest in joining with the village and property owners on Rogers Lake toward
maintenance of the water level and improvement of the lake.
