The meeting convened at 800 p.m. in the village fire hail with George Weed,
Bob Hauck, Ed Broder, Len Lustig, Dick Bancroft apd Hardy Wright present.
Also present was Howard Dahlgren. Present re case 62-10 wao W. B. Carlson;
presext re case 62-11 was John Phillips; present re proposed county mental
health clinic was DE. Thaddeus Chao,

Request; Approval of preliminary plat
Disposition: Motion by Sroder, seconded by Wright that the plat be recommended
for approval subject to dedication of 60g of e%reet to westerly
property line at the end of Speranza Court anc'l contingent on
established precedent for parks and playgrounds. Ayes 6, oyes 0.
Motion by Wright, seconded by Lustig that Mr. Tetti be asked to
negotiate t1 amount of the parks and plode dedication of
funds prior to approval of the fina/ plat. Ayes 6, nayes 0.

Location; Cemetary site in Mendota or Mendota Heights
Request; Building permit
Disposition; Motiol by Wright, seconded by Sroder that the npplication of the
Church of St. Peter for a building permit to c-astruct a utility
building for the storage of equipment and veM-Aes be recommended
for approval to the village council. Ayes 6, ayes 0.
Dr. Thaddeus Chao inquired about the attitude of the commiE_ion toward the possible
location of a county mental health clinic in Mendota Heigh:- and, if favorably
disposed toward such a development, uhat location. in the v_lage the commission
would Recommend. Interest was ezpressed by members. The ycsition of the chair
was that further consideration should await a specific pRoy-sal.

6 Motion by Sroder, seconded by Bancroft that tbs commission 'ecommend to the
council that it appoint someone to investigate the signs iY the village as to
whether they conform to the village sign ordinance, and inf date any necessary
steps in compliance with the ordinance.
