December 9, 1964
The meeting convened at 8g00 p.m. at the village hall with Ed Stringer, jJen
Lustig, Tom libera, George Weed and Hardy Wright presPnt. Present re case
64-26 wao Paul Marko; ve case 64-13, Harvey Bream; with query, Lavern Richgels,

Mr, Mao?ko reported on an investigation of costs for topographical and boundary
survey and street dedication, giving the opinion that, since village needs rather
than private ones arpareatly neceseitated these =peaces, that the village should
participate in paying the costo. Ed Stringpr agreed to see what might be accomplished
by talking with the attorney for the adjacent property owner to the south.

Harvey 2rear presented a full color sketch of a plot plan for development of the
nogothwest corner of Dodd &Wenorth in condiminium and apartment units. Ile
reported on an informal survey of the are of 14 neighboring parcels, pointing
out that he was unable to reach owners of undeveloped parcels nor could he
establish contact with Mrs. Schiefner. Of the seven parties oubmitting written
response to the proposal, all indicated generally that they thought it .,sould be
an improvement. According to Mr. Bream, Mro. Fjerstad said they were not as
opposed. as many people thought; Mr. Andrews is agoosed and the Somersot club
as; a body did not consider itself in a position to renaer an opinion. The
general subjects of town house, condiminium and apprtment development were
discussed. A special meeting for further discussion was set for December 29
at the Strinver residence.
4 Mr. Richgels inquired as to whether Lt would be permisoable to break the
building line on the culaesac at the end of Dendon Lane. The commission
indicated that the distance vrom the right-of-way on the culdesac wqs the
determining factor and suggested that the owner would probably prefer not
to face the house directly down the street. Mr, Richegelo indicated that
he could observe the same distance fromethe ri.pht-of-way on the culdesac
as the houoes along Rendon Lan.;, 4o 'Cron the street right-of-way.

The meeting convened at 800 p.m, at the Stringer residence ,4,ith id!;tringer,
Len Lustig, Dick Bancroft, George Wed and Hardy Wright from the comm1on,
M -yr Huber and Trustee Sroder from the coonoil0 in attendance. The discussion
was directed tollard a general approach to town house and condiminium applications
and therP vas general agreement that the 5 acre minimum EZon.Ord.21.8(1)] should
be held. The basic problem was resolved into terms of density and quaity 01
development desireable for the village. The strength of the trend totlard this
type of develoPment was recognised, bat there were differences as to whether
(1) the trend could or should be discouraged or excluded from deve/oping in the
village and (2) whether applications should by considered under the existing
Planned Redidential suction of the ordinance or under special provtsions to be
