Genereaux, Secretary Case 68-8 5'aca,y Applicant: Donald Taylor & Robert Taylor (Present) Represented by: Donald Lentseh, Realtor for property involved, owned by Modern Door g' Lumber Company at 1460 Sibley Highway, Request: Special use permit for warehousing. Applicant and realtor wished to know if a special use permit was required to operate property for warehousing, Applicants desire to purchase property and rent property for offices or warehousing. The prospective owners do not intend to operate as track terminal. There are no plans to change use of property. Since the land (6.8 acres) will be used for warehousing as at present no permit is needed and a motion was made, seconded and approved to allow the parties involved to withdraw their application.(4 0) A recommendation however was made as follows: New owners to submit plan of intentions as to parking and screening in compliance with ordnance and requirement for former owners. Robert Sawyer mentioned intention of upgrading parking and screening to minimum standards possibly within a years time. Case68-9 Applicant: Ronald R. Meyer and Daily H. Sydney ( Present) Property involved: East Marie Avenue -approximately 665 ft west from a point approx- imately 665 ft west of Delaware. The S Wa of S E4 of section 24, T28N, R 23 W. Present Z oning: RLA Request: Variance of lot area requirements from 40,000 sq ft to lot sixes of 20,000 sq ft approximately as shown on sketch plat dated April 16, 1968. Motion was made, Seconded and approved 4-0 to deny application for variance as re- zoning is required. Case 68-10A & 10B Applicant: Dorothy Perron (present) of 676 Callahan Place, St. Paul. 10A: Request variance from 40,000 sq ft to divide an tinplated tract of land with frontage of 262 ft on Callahan Place and a depth of 133 ft into 2 separate building sites each having a frontage of 131 ft, and a total area of approximately 17,400 sq ft. Present Zoning: w 48.5 ft is R 1; E 213.5 ft is zoned R L A. 10 B: Request variance from 40,000 sq ft to divide an unplated tract of land with frontage of 327,85 feet on Callahand Place and a depth of 133 ft into 2 separate building sites, each having 163.925 ft of frontage, and total lot area of approximately 21,800 sq ft. Present zoning: B1A Motion was made seconded and approved (3-1) to grant variance. (2) Minutes NortheriState Power by letter submitted a request (no application) with sketch for building an 8x10',8" Armco steel building at its pumping station adjacent to Highway 13. Examination showed sketch to be inaccurate and set back of proposed building inadequate. Recommendation was to send Mr. Vanelli a letter requiring submittal of application for conditioned use permit according to ordnance 7.2(3) A motion was made, seconded and approved to check all previous committments for parks and playgrounds if the committments have been paid. Gerald Prise presented a plat plan for a single family dwelling at the south east corner of Lilac Land & Caren Road. He requested information as required set back for his proposed home.
