Case 68-14 (Continued from last meeting)
Applicant: Sussel Company for owner Lyle Strong
Property involved: 1056 Chippewa
Requested: Variance to build garage 4 ft from side property line.
John Polymeros of the Sussel Company presented a letter from N. E. Maue
who consented to Lyle Strong building a 2 car garage 4 ft from the Maue
side lot line. Motion was made by C. Hebble and seconded by G. Weed and
approved 4-0, providing the front of the garage would be set back 12 ft
from the rear of the Strong house.

Applicant: Nicholas Cheesebrow (present)
Property involved: Lot #15 Willow Springs at 594 Marie Avenue.
Request: Request to divide lot #15 into 2 lots of equal size(134x179.25x178.60x220.38)
and (133x220.38x142x218.44).
Motion by G. Weed end seconded by Larry Culligan, Approved 4-0,

Applicant: Norbert P. Bisons
Property involved: Property owned by Lauer, A. J. & M. K. as follows:
The Wi of NE -i- of SE- of section 34, Township 28, Range 23, in
Dakota County except one acre in the NE corner thereof also
known as lots 2 thru 8, Block 3,4,5,6,11, and 12; Kavanaugh &
Dawsons Suburban Acre lots now vacated,
Request: Henning from B1A to R3A according to ordnance 32 Section 5.7 (3) for
apartment construction for 560 people.
Request was made per letter of September 20, 1968 from J. E. Parranto Inc.
The secretary will send a letter to Parranto Inc. requesting detailed
development plan prior to granting a rezoning hearing.
A motion was made by George Weed and seconded by C. Hebble that a letter be sent to
Mayor Huber with a copy to Ed. Stringer requesting a statement of balance sheet
for parks and playgrounds funds and lands received and distribution thereof, from
properties subdivided into 2.5 acres or less. Also recommended that no building
permits be issued to future divided properties until parks and. playgrounds commit-
ments are completed for properties involved.
Howard Dahlgren discussed in general several items at the conclusion of regular
business as follows:
1. Possible lawsuit by Lowry Hill Development to force village to
approve Lowry Hill Town Houses.
2. Suggested that recommendation be made to council that a planned
unit be treated as a plot in regards to parks and. playgrounds
committment. A motion was made and seconded and approved 4-0 to
adopt suggestion.

3. Recommended that Highway #110 bo opposed as a freeway in order to keep
heavy traffic out of village.
4. Recommended that school board not sell surplus land by Mendota Heights
Grade School to provide for possible future civic development.
