bridge over the highway. Dakota County has received a $1,000,000 grant
from the Metropolitan Council for construction with a corresponding County

the implementation plan for mass transit along the Robert Street corridor.
The Transitway project is not affiliated with the Robert Street reconstruction
project that will begin Phase I construction this summer. The alternatives
being analyzed under this study are Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) for either
Robert Street or Highway 52 and streetcars along Robert Street. Two open
th
houses are planned to get public input on the alternatives; March 10 from
th
5:00-7:00pm at Neighborhood House in Saint Paul, and March 12 from
4:00-6:00pm at the Dakota County Northern Service Center. The Steering
Committee will meet in April to discuss and potentially decide on a preferred
