RESOLUTION NO. 2014-58
RESOLUTION FORMALLY ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF GIFTS TO THE
MENDOTA HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENT IN SYMPATHY AND MEMORY OF
OFFICER SCOTT PATRICK
WHEREAS, the City of Mendota Heights desires to follow Minnesota Statute 465.03
"Gifts to municipalities"; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Statute requires a resolution to accept gifts to
municipalities; and
WHEREAS, the City has previously acknowledged gifts with a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights have duly considered this
matter and wish to acknowledge the civic mindedness of citizens and officially recognize their
donations; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mendota Heights Police Department wishes the Council and
Citizens know how much all of the support during a difficult time was appreciated by the entire
staff; and
WHEREAS, the Police Officers, Support Staff, Administration, Volunteers continue to
feel the support of the entire community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HF,REBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights is accepting donations from the following people and organizations TO THE
MENDOTA HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENT IN MEMORY OF OFFICER SCOTT
PATRICK.
