RESOLUTION 2014-20
RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT A NEW DETACHED
GARAGE WITHIN THE REQUIRED SIDE YARD SETBACK
WHEREAS, Michael Sullivan and Deborah Cuneo have applied for a variance to
construct a new detached garage within the required side yard setback at 993 Delaware Avenue
(ALL OF LOTS 13 & 18 OF POSAVAD'S ADDITION; PID#: 27-58500-00-185) as proposed
in Planning Case 2014-10; and
VVIIEREAS, the Mendota Heights Planning Commission held a public hearing on this
matter at their regular meeting April 22, 2014.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mendota Heights City Council that
the variance request as proposed in Planning Case 2014-10 is hereby approved with the
following conditions:
1. The applicant shall submit grading and utility plans and a dimensioned site plan with
associated easements, subject to review and approval by the City Engineering
Department, as part of any building permit application.
2. Any land disturbance activities must be in compliance with the City's Land Disturbance
Guidance document.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this sixth day of May, 2014.
