Res 2002- 16 Approving Variance @ 1007 William CtCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 02-16 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 20 -FOOT FRONT YARD SETBACK VARIANCE FOR A HOME ADDITION AT 1007 WILLIAM COURT WHEREAS, Thomas R. McEllistrem of 1007 William Court has applied for a 20 -foot Front Yard Setback Variance for a Home Addition as proposed in Planning Case #02-09; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their regular meeting on March 26,2002; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 6-0 (with one Commissioner excused) to recommend that the Council approve the 20 -foot Front Yard Setback Variance as proposed in Planning Case #02-09 based a hardship arising from the unusually deep setback of the neighboring houses and the noise from the freeway. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a 20 -foot Front Yard Setback Variance for a Home Addition for 1007 William Court as proposed in Planning Case #02-09 is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 20 -foot Front Yard Setback Variance for a Home Addition for 1007 William Court as proposed in Planning Case #02-09 would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
