RESOLUTION REESTABLISHING UNCHANGED PRECINCTS AND POLLING
PLACES
Whereas, onMarch 1S.2OO2.oMinnesota Supreme Court Special Redistricting Panel ordered
Redistricting Plans redefining legislative district boundaries throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, the boundaries of the five election precincts in the City of Mendota Heights remain
unchanged following the state legislative redistricting;
NOW THEREFORE ITUS HEREBY RESOLVED, that inaccordance with Minnesota Statutes
2O4B.1G.the election precinctboundaries and polling places for the City ofMendota Heights are hereby
reestablished as follow:
Precinct No. 1
Polling Place: Somerset Elementary School
1355Dodd Road
Boundaries: That part of the city lying east and north of line described as follows:
commencing at the intersection of the northern boundary of the city and State Highway 13,
southwesterly along State Highway 13 to VVochUer Avenue, southerly along VVacht|er
Avenue to Wentworth Avanue, easterly along Wentworth Avenue to Dodd Rood,
southwesterly along Dodd Road to Marie Avenue, easterly along Marie Avenue tothe
eastern boundary ofthe city.
Precinct No. 2
Polling Place: Mendota Heights CUnHoU

That part of the city lying east of 1-35E and west of a line described as follows:
commencing at the intersection of S.T.H. 13 and VVechUer Axenue, southerly along
VVocht|erAvenue to Wentworth Avenue, easterly along Wentworth Avenue to Dodd Road,
southwesterly along Dodd Rood to Marie Avenue, xveah*r|y along Marie Avenue to 1-35E;
and that port of the City lying west of 1-35E and east of line described as follows:
commencing at the intersection ofGIH. 13 and 1-35E, southwesterly along G.T.H. 13 to
Lexington Avenue, south to Overlook Road, east to Lilac Lane south to its intersection with
Marie Avenue, then south along Walsh Lane to Victoria Road, easterly along Victoria Road

along 1-35E to the southern boundary of the City.

Polling Place: St. Paul's United Methodist Church

Boundaries:
That part of the city lying south of Marie Avenue, west of Delaware Avenue, east
of 1-35E, and north of a line commencing at the intersection of Wagon Wheel Trail
and 1-35E, easterly along Wagon Wheel to Dodd Road, southerly along Pagel
Road to Keokuk Lane, easterly to Pueblo Drive, southerly to Mohican Lane,
southeasterly to Pueblo Lane, north to Huber Drive, east to Delaware Avenue.
Precinct No. 5
Polling Place: Visitation School
2455 Visitation Drive
Boundaries:
That part of the city lying north of 1-494, east of 1-35E, west of Delaware Avenue,
and south of the southerly boundary of Precinct 4 as described above.
