RESOLUTION 02-25
A RESOLUTION APPROVING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE EXISTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR A DAY CARE FACILITY AT ROYAL REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH
AT 1960 LEXINGTON AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, Rev. Connie McCallister of Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church at
1960 Lexington Avenue South has applied for a Amendment to the Existing Conditional
Use Permit for a Day Care Facility as proposed in Planning Case #02-13; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on April 23, 2002; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 4-0 (with three Commissioners
excused) to recommend that the Council approve the Amendment to the Existing
Conditional Use Permit as proposed in Planning Case #02-13.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Amendment to the Existing Conditional Use Permit for a
Day Care Facility for 1960 Lexington Avenue South as proposed in Planning Case #02-
13 is hereby approved on the condition that the applicant verify that they have the
necessary state license to operate the facility.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Amendment to the Existing
Conditional Use Permit for a Day Care Facility for 1960 Lexington Avenue South as
proposed in Planning Case #02-13 would not have an adverse impact on the health,
safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land,
and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
